What customers see. What the business runs.

The customer experience is only one side of a modern website. The other is the system your team uses to manage it.

Custom CMS. Built around the business.

We do not install a generic CMS and ask the business to adapt to it. When a project requires a management platform, we build the controls around the things the team actually needs to manage.

Sometimes a simple content layer is enough. When the business needs something more specific, we build it.

What a custom platform can manage

  • Content
  • Services
  • Inventory
  • Media
  • Bookings
  • Pricing
  • SEO
  • Leads
  • Users
  • Integrations

Scoped per project. Not every build includes every module.

The build

Built as a system. Not a collection of pages.

01

Experience

The site has to be clear, credible and easy to choose before the technology underneath matters.

  • Brand expression
  • UI / UX
  • Responsive design
  • Content architecture
  • Interaction design
  • Conversion path

02

Engineering

Architecture selected around the business rather than around a template ecosystem.

  • Custom frontend
  • Custom CMS
  • APIs
  • Databases
  • Booking systems
  • Ecommerce
  • CRM integration

03

Growth

Search and measurement are designed into the build rather than added after launch.

  • Technical SEO
  • Local search architecture
  • Analytics
  • Conversion tracking
  • Landing experiences
  • Structured data

04

Ownership

The website should become a business asset, not another platform the client is trapped inside.

  • Source code
  • Data
  • Infrastructure
  • Analytics
  • Documentation

Engineering standard

Fast by architecture.Search-ready by default.

Critical content is rendered in reliable, accessible HTML, so search engines, AI systems and people are never dependent on complex client-side execution to understand the page. Crawler capability varies and changes. Plain, well-structured markup does not.

Performance

The page is useful before it is finished loading.

Server-rendered critical content
The words and structure arrive in the first response, not after a script runs.
Responsive images
Modern formats at the size the layout actually uses, never a desktop file sent to a phone.
Controlled JavaScript
Interactivity where it earns its cost, and nowhere else.
Core Web Vitals
Loading, responsiveness and visual stability treated as build requirements, not a post-launch cleanup.

Search

Findable by the systems people actually use to look.

Semantic HTML
Headings, lists and landmarks that describe the content rather than just position it.
Crawlable navigation
Real links to real URLs, reachable without running an application.
Structured data
Organization, Service, Article and FAQ markup that matches what the page visibly says.
Indexation discipline
One canonical URL per page, a sitemap that agrees with it, and nothing important behind a redirect chain.

Measurement

You can tell what the website is worth.

Analytics
Configured at build time, so there is data from launch day rather than from whenever someone remembers.
Conversion events
Calls, forms and bookings recorded as outcomes, not as page views.
Attribution-ready architecture
Campaign and channel data preserved through to the enquiry.
Lead handoff
Enquiries delivered where the team already works, with CRM integration where the business uses one.

Accessibility

The site works for people using it in every way people do.

Semantic structure
A logical document a screen reader can navigate.
Keyboard navigation
Every control reachable and operable without a mouse.
Reduced motion
Animation that respects the operating-system preference.
Contrast and targets
Text that meets AA contrast, and controls large enough to hit on a phone.

The same standards are what make a site legible to AI search. It is one engineering requirement among several, handled in the build. Search visibility as an ongoing programme is a separate service.

Behind the website

The website your customers see.The platform your team uses.

Inventory · Leads · Sales · Bookings · Analytics

A custom CMS can manage exactly what the business needs: treatments, inventory, media, pricing, bookings, leads, editorial content or operational data. The interface is designed around the client workflow rather than around what a plugin happened to expose.

Custom CMS. No vendor lock-in.

Your code, database and infrastructure remain yours. No plugin maze, no platform dependency, no licence that has to be renewed for the site to keep working.

Where the platform needs to do more than manage content, that work continues into automation and AI inside the systems the business already uses.

Not every project starts from zero.

Most web projects are not blank pages. They are working businesses with a site that stopped pulling its weight.

01Redesign

Keep the equity. Change the experience.

Preserve what has value while replacing what is holding conversion, performance or usability back. Existing URLs are mapped to their new homes so the search history you have already earned carries over.

02Replatform

Move away from what is holding the site back.

Rebuild from legacy themes, plugin-heavy platforms or rigid systems when the current architecture prevents the business from moving forward. Most often that means WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or an aging custom build.

03Ecommerce

Make the path to purchase shorter.

Product architecture, checkout, content and integrations designed around conversion and operations, with product data structured so the catalogue is legible to search.

How we work

Understand first.Build second.

  1. 01

    Audit

Understand the existing site, market, technology and what should survive.

  2. 02

    Define

Establish architecture, content, integrations, conversion paths and technical requirements.

  3. 03

    Design + build

Design the customer experience, build the system, and review progress in a real working environment.

  4. 04

    Launch + measure

Deploy, validate, train the client team, monitor performance and improve from real usage.

Not every business needs a new site. Sometimes the right answer is a few targeted fixes, and the assessment says so. Start with an assessment.

Investment

What does a serious website cost?

Custom website projects start from $5,500 CAD, fixed price.

Larger custom CMS, ecommerce and business-platform projects are scoped around the required functionality and integrations. The scope and the price are both agreed in writing before any work starts.

Every tier is published. There is no retainer, no hourly billing and no discovery invoice before you know the number. If the scope genuinely needs to change mid-project, we stop and re-quote in writing rather than absorbing it into the timeline.

Where this works, and where it does not.

A good fit

  • The business has outgrown its current website.
  • The website needs to generate or support real customer acquisition.
  • Custom functionality or integrations are required.
  • The team values ownership and long-term architecture.
  • Performance, search and conversion matter commercially.

Probably not us

  • Looking for a $500 template site. There are good DIY options for that.
  • Wants a theme installed with minimal customisation.
  • The only objective is to look different, with no business requirement behind it.
  • Wants the cheapest short-term platform rather than ownership.

Who runs this

We have seen four generations of how the web works. We build for the next one, not the last one.

Questions before the build.

How long does a website take to build?

A Conversion Site runs six to eight weeks from signed plan to launch. A Premium Site with custom architecture, multi-location structure or booking and CRM integration runs eight to twelve weeks. Custom platform builds are scoped individually. The timeline is fixed in the plan before work starts, alongside the price.

What does a custom website cost?

Custom website projects start from $5,500 CAD. A Focused Custom Website is $5,500 to $8,500, a Premium Website with custom CMS is $10,000 to $18,000, and platforms with ecommerce or complex integrations are scoped from $18,000. All CAD, fixed price agreed in writing before work starts.

Do I own the website?

Yes. Source code, hosting accounts, DNS, analytics, content and admin access all transfer to you. The site runs on standard tooling rather than a proprietary platform, so if you stopped working with Most AI Labs tomorrow the site would keep running on your own accounts and any competent developer could pick it up.

Can you redesign my existing website?

Yes, and most projects are redesigns rather than blank pages. Every existing URL is mapped to its new home with permanent redirects so the search history you have already earned carries over, the content worth keeping is migrated intact, and the design, performance and conversion path are rebuilt around it.

Can you move us off WordPress, Wix or Squarespace?

Yes. Replatforming from theme-based or plugin-heavy systems onto a modern server-rendered stack you own outright is a normal project for us. The question we ask first is whether the current platform is genuinely holding the business back, because sometimes it is not and a smaller piece of work is the honest answer.

Do you build custom CMS platforms?

Yes. When a project needs a management platform, we build the interface around what the team actually manages: content, services, inventory, media, pricing, bookings, leads or operational data. Not every website needs one. Sometimes a simple content layer is enough, and we will say so.

Do you build ecommerce?

Yes, as a scoped project rather than an off-the-shelf storefront. That covers product architecture, checkout, content and the integrations the business runs on, with product data structured so the catalogue is legible to search. Larger headless commerce builds fall into the custom scope tier.

Is SEO included in the build?

The technical foundations are included in every build: semantic structure, crawlable navigation, structured data, clean URLs and canonical discipline, plus analytics and conversion tracking configured before launch. Ongoing search work such as content programmes, local search and competitor tracking is a separate service under Digital Growth.

What happens after launch?

Nothing is required from us on a retainer. The stack runs on infrastructure you own, and domain registration is the one recurring cost, roughly $20 a year. Your team is trained on the editor before handover. Later content updates or new features are quoted at a fixed price per scope when you want them.

How do you approach AI and search visibility?

The same way we approach search generally: critical content is rendered in reliable, accessible HTML, the page structure describes what the content actually is, and structured data matches what the page visibly says. Crawler capabilities vary between systems and change over time, so we do not build around any single crawler's current behaviour or treat any one file as a ranking signal. Well-structured markup is what stays true.
